Pause with Panda is a comforting toy Panda that audibly guides children through short mindfulness exercises called “Pauses.” These Pauses help children learn to be more responsive and less reactive to their thoughts, feelings and emotions.

A Pause is a bite-size mindfulness activity that children can do anytime, anywhere. Panda has six types of Pauses – Calm, Focus, Move, Love, Sleep and Smart Heart. We’ve created each type of Pause based on the fundamentals of mindfulness.

Panda is designed for kids ages 3+ but it can be enjoyed by any age group – even adults!

Panda is intended for indoor, dry-location use only. We know it’s tough, but try to keep food and beverages away from Panda. Do not spill liquid of any kind on Panda as it may render it inoperative. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Try to avoid dropping Panda (again, we know…kids…). Because you can recharge Panda, there’s no reason to dismantle it.

If needed, clean with a damp cloth using cold water. Do not use soap, detergent or other chemicals. Never submerge in water. Allow to dry before reuse.

We use safety tested, rechargeable lithium batteries. They are better for the planet and better for you so you don’t have to chase down batteries when Panda might need a charge. We’ve also included a Micro-USB charging cable in case you don’t have one.

You bet! We take safety very seriously – especially when it comes to children and electronics. Pause with Panda was designed with safety toy experts and has passed the  certifications required by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

No, when you buy a Panda you get free lifetime access to Panda’s current and future content. We know that a lot of companies love subscriptions these days, but not every parent.

We believe that while screen time can be both beneficial and educational for children, practicing mindfulness starts with focusing on yourself – not what’s happening on a screen. Panda’s comforting character and voice means there is no need for a child to look at a screen while taking a Pause. The primary benefit of the app is to let you customize what Pauses are stored on Panda to keep a pulse on it’s usage from your little one.

You can install the Pause with Panda app on the following devices:

• Apple devices with Minimum iOS X or above
• Android devices with Android X or above
• Kindle Fire OS X or above

Scholarly research finds that mindfulness practice can decrease stress and anxiety, increase attention, improve interpersonal relationships, strengthen compassion as well as a host of other benefits.  Below is a summary of research findings on the benefits of mindfulness for children

• Reduction of Stress and Anxiety – Mindfulness reduces feelings of stress and improves anxiety and distress when placed in a stressful social situation.
• Emotional Regulation – Mindfulness is associated with emotion regulation across a number of studies. Mindfulness creates changes in the brain that correspond to less reactivity, and better ability to engage in tasks even when emotions are activated.
• Improved Attention – Numerous studies show improved attention, including better performance on objective tasks that require an extensive concentration span.
• Greater Compassion – People randomly assigned to mindfulness training are more likely to help someone in need and have greater self-compassion.

Mindfulness can be thought of as an umbrella term for the practices of paying attention on purpose with kindness, which can be done formally (such as through a type of meditation, such as bringing awareness to the breath) or informally (such as being engaged, open and curious during a conversation with others). You don’t have to formally practice mindfulness through seated meditation to see it’s benefits.

Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to change your order after it is placed. Please ensure that your order and shipping details are correct as we are not able to edit these once your order has been processed.

• Incomplete or incorrect billing information may result in a processing delay. If your shipping information differs from your billing information, your order may also be delayed for verification.
• Shipping charges are determined by the subtotal of your order.
• Shipping methods and their accompanying charges are displayed in checkout at the time of your order.
• Shipping methods and their accompanying charges also appear in your order confirmation email.
• It is your responsibility to be available to receive this shipment at the ship-to address specified in your order details.

We accept returns for products purchased from https://pausewithpanda.com within 30 days of delivery date, and will issue a refund as long as the following criteria are met:

• Request is made within 30 days of delivery of the item.
• Product is returned in the same condition as it was when shipped and must be in ‘new’ or ‘like new condition’.
• Must be received in the original packing material and with all of its accessories such as: charging cable, power adaptor, book and user guides. The product returned will be inspected when it arrives at the warehouse and you will be charged the selling price for any item missing or damaged and it will be deducted from the refund amount.
• Valid Order Information (Name, Order Number)

Please provide the following information:

• Your Name
• Email Address
• Contact Phone Number
• Order Number
• Last Four Digits of the Credit Card Used to Purchase
• Date of Purchase
• Copy of Receipt
• Return Address

Our customer service representative will provide instructions on how to return the product. If you have multiple items to return, you may pack them in a single box with the packing slip. You can either schedule a pickup with the carrier or drop off the package at any of the carrier’s locations. Please note that shipping costs will not be refunded.

If the item is returned within this timeframe, we will process your refund as promptly as possible, within one week after receiving your returned product.  The number of days for the credit to reflect on your credit card statement may vary depending on your credit card-issuing bank. 

Please note the following that any missing or damaged units or accessories will be deducted from your refund.

An account helps us better provide service should you ever need help. It also lets us provide you with personalized recommendations and suggestions for how to get the most out of Panda.

You can change your password in the app by going to “Change Password” under Settings.

If for some reason you need to change your email address, please send us an email at support@pausewithpanda.com.

Yes. When you delete your account, all of your data and preferences will be erased. You will still be able to play any Pauses that you synced to Panda as well as charge Panda, but you won’t be able to access the app, update content or view stats. If you would like to delete your account, please send us an email at support@pausewithpanda.com.
